After getting a tease of a Comic-Con unveiling, our first real look at Gareth Edwards‘ Godzilla has landed today in two forms. First up, a piece of concept are has surfaced, which shows off some insane scale — perhaps even hinting at a larger creature than what was in Pacific Rim. Rising from the sea, it looks like we can just see the scales of the infamous creature, as it approaches an aircraft carrier.
Meanwhile, at Comic-Con, journalists were invited to take a look at Legendary and WB’s Godzilla Encounter, complete with a replica of the monster, as well as some of the scenery we can expect to see in the film, as we’re transported to Tokyo. Starring Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, check out a few images in the post but head over to Collider for many more and thanks to Skreeonk for the concept art.
Godzilla opens next May.
