Today we’ve got a new glimpse at the official Cannes 2012 film we all care about the least. Scripted by Noah Baumbach, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted looks to be more of the same animal antics found in the previous films but for some reason the boxy, crude animation is bothersome in this latest trailer. Directed by Eric Darnel, Tom McGrath and Conrad Vernon, the animation features Ben Stiller, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Chris Rock returning to voice, while Jessica Chastain, Bryan Cranston, Frances McDormand, and Martin Short are newcomers. Check it out below via Yahoo for the film that will be playing next to you while you are all seeing Prometheus.
Synopsis:
Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style.
Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted arrives on June 8th, 2012.
