I saw this news yesterday and brushed it off as a aimless rumor, but since other sites seem to be picking it up I will share it with our readers. Nikki Finke over at Deadline posted a story about Flashforward showrunner David Goyer leaving the ABC show. Packed right in the middle she says, “Goyer’s feature career is really heating up, since he co-wrote Batman Begins, and penned the story for The Dark Knight, and is now writing the third Batman installment with Chris Nolan‘s brother Jonah.” Now there is no confirmation from anyone that this is happening, so take it as a rumor. It’s quite possible they are putting work into the project as Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming summer blockbuster, Inception, has wrapped and he is likely looking for his next film.

In my recently posted list of 10 Films That Could Rival Avatar’s Box Office, the third Batman film is high up. I hope Nolan steers clear of the whole 3D craze, but I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next. For now, I’m just looking forward to Inception, because it looks a whole lot more interesting that any superhero film.

What do you want to see in the next Batman film?
