Director Scott Stewart just announced via twitter that Christopher Plummer and Brad Dourif has joined the cast of his upcoming film Priest. The story revolves around a priest played by Paul Bettany who disobeys church law to track down vampires who have kidnapped his niece. This comic book adaptation is currently shooting and is set for an August 13th, 2010 release date.
Although I know very little about the series, I am very excited for this. One of the main reasons is because of Scott Stewart, who has his directorial debut Legion coming out in January which looks like a promising debut. Plus, any movie with Paul Bettany immediately gains my interest and the same goes for the new cast member Christopher Plummer.
Will the addition of Plummer and Dourif be a good thing for Priest?
