The Dark Knight rose yesterday, now Mission: Impossible receives its protocol. The cast and crew revealed the official title for the next Mission: Impossible iteration at a press conference, via Collider. Are you ready? Here it is:
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol
[Insert Ghost Recon joke]. The Incredibles director Brad Bird is jumping into live-action territory with this film, with J.J. Abrams serving as producer and developing the story. At the press conference, which included stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, and Paula Patton, it was revealed that the massive Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai will be prominently featured in an action scene. The film also has an impressive cast including the return of Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames, as well as Léa Seydoux, Josh Holloway, Michael Nyqvist, and Anil Kapoor.
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol hits theaters December 16, 2011.
