The action choreographer of such films as The Matrix, Kill Bill 1 & 2, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Kung Fu Hustle, Unleashed, and Wong Kar-wai‘s upcoming The Grandmaster is set to debut his latest directorial effort in the US this spring. Yuen Woo-Ping‘s True Legend‘s most recognizable stars, on our shores at least, are Michelle Yeoh and David Carradine, but they are also joined by Jay Chou, Vincent Zhao, Zhou Xun, Andy On, Guo Xiaodong, Gordon Liu, and Cung Le. There isn’t much story to speak of in the trailer via Apple, but you can get a strong of the vivid action. Check it out below.
Synopsis: Yuen Woo Ping (The Matrix trilogy, Kill Bill Volumes I and II, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero) brings you True Legend, a heart pounding epic about the timeless battle between good and evil.
