“Another alien invasion flick.” Get ready to repeat that phrase for the next few years. After the alien success with Avatar and the invasion success with District 9, modestly budgeted sci-fi flicks are popping up all over the place.
The latest is from brothers Colin Strause and Greg Strause. They directed AvP: Requiem and have done visual effect work on Avatar, 2012, Iron Man 2, Jonah Hex, The Book of Eli and another upcoming alien invasion film, Battle: Los Angeles. The film stars Donald Faison, Eric Balfour, David Zayas, Scottie Thompson, and Brittany Daniel. Check out the trailer below via Apple.
Synopsis: In the sci-fi thriller Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.
Skyline hits theaters Nov. 12th, 2010 via Universal.
