Georgian director Gela Babluani returns to helm this English-language remake of his critically-acclaimed 2006 French/Georgian thriller, 13 Tzameti. Judging by the trailer above, 13 strives to be as tense and minimalist as the original, only this time loaded with ridiculous amounts of star power. A synopsis [via IMDB]:

13 premiered last year at the SXSW Festival, was theatrically released around the world (except in America) throughout 2010 and 2011, and finally hits the US in a limited run on October 28th. You’ll be able to pick it up on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 8th.
