Over halfway through their seven-month production which kicked off last December, we’ve gotten a few glimpses at Spectre, the 24th James Bond film, in the form of photos, posters, and official video blogs. Today, however, our first genuine glimpse at what to expect this fall has arrived with the first trailer.

With Daniel Craig returning alongside Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, and Ralph Fiennes as M, they welcome newcomers Andrew Scott as Denbigh (part of MI5), Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista as henchman Mr. Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Bond girl Lucia Sciarra, along with Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, as well as Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser.

Along with today’s trailer, we got the fully expected announcement that the film will also be arriving in IMAX, although cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema isn’t employing any of their large-format cameras to our knowledge. When it comes to the teaser, it very much does just that, showing off some beautiful landscapes and a few character, leading up to the almost-reveal of Waltz’s villain (Blofeld?).

As we greatly anticipate the release this November, check out the trailer below as well as new images from the Mexico set. They depict the opening of the film, IGN reports, featuring foot chases through a Day of the Dead parade, an exploding building, and hand-to-hand combat on a helicopter.
