We got the great news yesterday morning that Daniel Craig is set for at least two more outings as James Bond and now we’ve got some more info on his next introduction and how long, specifically, we’ll be seeing him in Skyfall.
First up, with the film arriving in UK theaters just next month, its bound to be picture locked so this news has us somewhat convinced. Empire Cinemas have revealed a 145-minute runtime for Sam Mendes‘ feature, which puts this just a minute longer than Casino Royale and nearly 40 minutes above Quantum of Solace. Hopefully we get a confirmation soon, but regardless, expect a lot of Bond this fall.
We’ve also got a new featurettte from the film which features Craig, Mendes and more discussing what looks to be an ambitious opening sequence, set in Istanbul. One has to expect we’ll get news on who will be performing the title song momentarily, but for now check out the new action-filled look at the blockbuster below.
Synopsis:
In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
