If there’s any question, last year’s Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol cemented that Tom Cruise is back in the Hollywood’s action spotlight and his upcoming career choices only further prove the theory. In just a few weeks, he’ll debut his next role as the title character Jack Reacher and we’ve got a new clip that serves as an ideal introduction. Led by a conversation with Richard Jenkins and David Oyelowo, the brisk tone quickly turns comedic — a welcome trait in the genre nowadays.
For those awaiting more Cruise, his next film will soon follow as Oblivion hits theaters in the spring. While a first trailer for Joseph Kosinski‘s Tron: Legacy follow-up is expected this month, a batch of concept art has been unearthed ahead of time, detailing an expansive sci-fi world. While it’s impossible to tell at this time what will actually make it into the film, the initial design of these locations is strong. Check out both the clip and concept art below, with the latter coming from JoBlo.
Update: Concept art removed at the request of Universal Pictures.
Jack Reacher arrives on December 21st, while Oblivion lands on April 12th.
