After numerous delays, it looks like Jane Got the Gun will actually get a U.S. release in a few weeks. Led and produced by Natalie Portman, the western sports a fine ensemble, including Ewan McGregor, Joel Edgerton, and Rodrigo Santoro. Will remnants of what made Lynne Ramsay initially attracted to it remain, or will Warrior director Gavin O’Connor bring an entirely different angle? We’ll find out soon, and today brings the first U.S. trailer.

That’s not all from Portman, however. Gearing up for a big year, Knight of Cups will arrive in March, and later this year we’ll likely get the French film Planetarium, helmed by Rebecca Zlotowski (Grand Central) and written by Zlotowski and Robin Campillo (The Returned). A 1930s period piece about two sister spiritualists who are believed to have a special connection to ghosts, the first image has also landed today, which sees her alongside Lily-Rose Melody Depp.

Portman, who is currently filming Pablo Larraín‘s biopic Jackie biopic (see the first image below), will then jump to Ex Machina helmer Alex Garland‘s second feature Annihilation. Also starring Gina Rodriguez and the newly added Tessa Thompson (if talks go through, according to The Wrap), it’s an adaptation of Jeff VanderMeer‘s novel, a story which follows a four-woman scientific expedition team sent to survey an Eden-like paradise, Area X, that has ended up killing many of its visitors.

Check out everything below, including one-hour talk with Portman from TIFF where she stopped by with her directorial debut, A Tale of Love and Darkness, which will also likely get a release this year after premiering at Cannes.
