Back in 2011, on a tiny budget, Evan Glodell‘s rough-and-tumble Bellflower premiered at Sundance Film Festival to a love-it-or-hate-it response, a notion that continued through its theatrical run. Now, just a couple of years later, its producer Vincent Grashaw has completed his directorial debut, Coldwater, which premiered at SXSW earlier this year.

Following a group of troubled youths who are forced to attend a rehabilitation camp, we were fans of it, saying in our full review, “it’s an assured debut with a fearless desire to carefully disseminate the information needed to process the whole in calculated portions.” A new trailer has now landed today, which starts as a compelling drama and soon turns into thriller territory. Check it out below via THR for the film starring PJ Boudousqué, James C. Burns, Chris Petrovski, Octavius J. Johnson, Nicholas Bateman, Stephanie Simbari, Mackenzie Sidwell Graff, Clayton LaDue, Tommy Nash and Scott MacArthur.

Coldwater is currently seeing U.S. distribution.
