Touchstone Pictures has now released the first trailer for the sci-fi comic book adaptation of Surrogates. Surrogates revolves around two FBI agents (Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell) who are investigating a series of mysterious murders. It’s set in a world where no one interacts, everyone has there own surrogate, they never have to leave there house while a much more improved mechanic version version of themselves is out living there life. Surrogates is set for a September 25th release date. Check out the trailer after the jump.
As a fan of the graphic novel, this trailer’s rather disappointing. It just doesn’t have that gritty look of the graphic novel, it looks really glossy and cheesy. This could be a fun movie, but it looks kind of bland. The trailer also makes me feel like I just watched the whole movie, so spoiler warning.
