Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Death Race) has made a Three Musketeers film and it looks just about as dumb as one would expect. That’s not to say it won’t be some fun, as evidence in the ultra-silly, somewhat charming trailer. Christoph Waltz is hidden somewhere in the cast that includes Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Mads Mikkelson, Gabriella Wilde, and Orlando Bloom. We also see a glimpse of Juno Temple, who just signed on to The Dark Knight Rises. Check out the trailer via Apple below.
Synopsis: The hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Logan Lerman) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (Matthew MacFadyen, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson) in this reboot of Alexandre Dumas’ story. They must stop the evil Richlieu (Christoph Waltz) and face off with Buckingham (Orlando Bloom) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich). The action adventure is given a state of the art update in 3-D.
The Three Musketeers will hit theaters October 14th, 2011 in 3D.
