Perhaps one of the best supporting characters to grace the small screen, Ben Schwartz was pitch-perfect as Jean Ralphio on Parks & Recreation. He’s now ventured into a larger role on Showtime’s House of Lies and has his sights to make a further mark in Hollywood. Deadline reports that the actor will be making his feature writing debut for a romantic comedy No Hearts Club, based on a pitch he just sold to Universal. Produced by Imagine’s Brian Grazer, there are no other details except that it’s  “a rom-com from the male perspective.”

Schwartz also may appear in Parks & Recreation at the end of the season, but he’s not sure if the scene he shot will make the cut. He’ll next be seen alongside Glenn Howerton, Josh Groban, Lukas Haas, Steve Little and Kevin Durand, in Funny Or Die’s Cheers-esque comedy Coffee Town, which centers on thirty-something underachievers who spend all their time in a coffee shop. Through this setting, there’s an intent to explore “the ethos of the freelance and the unemployed who use coffee shops as makeshift offices.” For now, check out some of our favorite Ralphio moments below.
