Woody Harrelson has been this angry since…well, this year’s cop drama Rampart. For In Bruges director Martin McDonagh‘s follow-up Seven Psychopaths, the actor has lost his precious Shih Tzu Bonny and will try and get it back at all costs. CBS Films is tasked with the tough job to sell this jet-black comedy (one we loved at Toronto) and their strategy looks to be working.

Setting up a Twitter account for Harrelson’s character, they’ve shared a dog missing ad and a hilarious viral clip that puts us in charge of saving America. When it comes to McDonagh’s sensibilities, this clearly seems in line. Check them both out below, along with a clip (via Apple) featuring Sam Rockwell and Colin Farrell‘s first encounter with the eccentric Tom Waits (and his rabbit). Then go over to Entertainment Weekly to see an embedded clip with Rockwell and his girlfriend Olga Kurylenko, as we greatly look forward to this one.

Synopsis:

An alcoholic screenwriter (Colin Farrell) struggling to write a serial-killer script gets more real-life inspiration than he can handle when a dognapping scheme gone awry brings a galaxy of crazies to his doorstep. A top-notch cult-movie cast — including Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits, Harry Dean Stanton-anchors this wacky, blood-spattered commentary on the psycho-killer thriller from the writer-director of In Bruges.

Seven Psychopaths arrives in theaters on October 12th.
