With only a few major premieres left at Cannes Film Festival, we’ve seen a great deal of strong works and today brings our first look at footage from a few of the films that are highest on our radar. First up, we’ll showcase a clip from a title that’s already premiered to great praise (including our own), J.C. Chandor‘s All is Lost. Featuring Robert Redford preparing for the oncoming storm, it gives us a hint at the dialogue-free, intense story.

Next up, we’ve got our first piece of footage from James Gray‘s in competition drama The Immigrant. Featuring his immaculate production design, we follow Joaquin Phoenix and Marion Cotillard on their journey into New York City and a bit of the Big Apple itself. Lastly, the debut clip from Arnaud Des Pallières‘ period drama Michael Kohlhaas has landed, featuring last year’s Best Actor winner at Cannes, Mads Mikkelsen. Check out all the clips below, thanks to the Cannes Film Festival press site.

Are you looking forward to the above films?
