While it’s been over a year since their farewell concert, fans will get a chance to celebrate LCD Soundsystem’s final show in a similar fashion. Just like their last concert at Madison Square Garden on April 2nd, 2011, the documentary capturing the event, Shut Up and Play the Hits, directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, will be shown in theaters for just a single night.
Distributors Oscilloscope have announced the plan to show the film nationwide on a single night, this July. So, before you get your ticket to The Dark Knight Rises two days later, we encourage you to check out the film on Wednesday, July 18th (our full Sundance review here). Check out the current locations below, following the trailer, and an updated list here, including a way to demand it in your city.
