TV director, Nick Copus (The 4400, Nikita) is making his film debut with an action flick about an impending ice age. The UK/New Zealand co-production centers on a scientist named Archer (Richard Roxburgh), who realizes an evil oil company’s drilling is causing the world’s glaciers to melt. Now he’s in a race against time to save his family as the world crumbles around him.
The hokey premise has somehow wrangled a cast that includes Frances O’ Connor (The Importance of Being Earnest), Stephen Moyer (True Blood), and Sam Neill (Yes).

Am I alone in thinking this looks ten shades of awful? To me, this trailer looks like a forgotten thriller from the ’80s that should be showing on TNT.
