The trailer for the upcoming Tilda Swinton vehicle, I Am Love, debuted on Apple’s website. The film, which drew rave reviews at both the Toronto and Venice film festivals, is being distributed domestically by Magnolia Pictures. Swinton’s last film, Julia, was also distributed by Magnolia. I Am Love sees Swinton, speaking in Italian, as a Russian transplant living in Milan whose life takes an unexpected turn when she falls in love with her son’s business partner. The trailer looks impressive and proves once again that Swinton is one of the riskiest and gifted actresses working today. Unfortunately, with Magnolia handling the distribution, this film could slip through the cracks similarly to the criminally overlooked Julia.

The film opens in limited release on June 18th, 2010.
