We got some odd clips and teasers for the latest from Rubber director Quentin Dupieux, but now the first theatrical trailer has landed for his next absurd comedy Wrong. Coming from France – where it will debut this fall – the teaser gives us our best look at the story of a man (Jack Plotnick) and the search for his lost dog.

The film was one of our favorites when it premiered at Sundance (review here), where we said, “filled with off-kilter humor, delightfully surreal vignettes and a surprisingly heartfelt connection to the protagonist, Wrong is a film so insanely confident and unashamed that it’s hard not to admire its originality.” Starring Eastbound & Down‘s Steve Little, character actor extraordinaire William Fichtner, Eric Judor and Alexis Dziena, one can see the trailer below for the film that unfortunately has yet to secure US distribution.

Wrong hits French theaters in the fall with currently no US distribution set. Check out our Sundance interview with the director here.
