As promised a few days ago, a new look at Christopher Nolan‘s Interstellar is right around the corner with Godzilla. Attached to Gareth Edwards‘ monster reboot is the first full-length preview from Nolan’s sci-fi adventure and while we expect it arrive online next week (or, if you’re in DC, you can see it now), the first poster has now landed.
While Nolan and the title are front and center the new tagline is also revealed: “Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here.” We expect to the teaser to unveil the story of the toll climate change has taken on agriculture, with corn standing as the last remaining crop. Matthew McConaughey‘s character will then head through wormholes into other dimensions in search of somewhere other crops can be grown. But for now, check out the poster below and click for higher-resolution, and see last year’s teaser here.
Update: Check out the first official still below, thanks to EW’s latest issue:
With a cast that also includes Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, Matt Damon, Michael Caine, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, and Topher Grace, Interstellar opens on November 7th, 2014.
