FEAST

A new Disney animation is right around the corner with Big Hero 6 and while we’ll have to wait and see if connects with audiences, as of late, we’ve found more creativity in the shorts attached to their features. Today brings the first preview of their latest, Feast, which comes from Paperman‘s Patrick Osborne and will be attached to Big Hero 6 next month. Centering around the life of a dog, Winston, and his relationship with his owner, the animation looks stunning.

Pixar will also have a new short attached to their next film, Inside Out (teaser), this June. From director James Ford Murphy, Lava is described as “a musical love story that takes place over millions of years,” and along with the first footage below, we also have another image featuring a pair of turtles.

Lastly in the realm of Disney animation, the studio has released the first concept art and news regarding Moana, which will arrive in late 2016. Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, the duo behind Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and The Princess and the Frog, the film follows a girl and a demigod on a journey through the South Pacific. Film Divider reports Taika Waititi (Boy, Eagle vs Shark, What We Do In the Shadows) is behind the original screenplay, in case you needed another boost of anticipation.
