According to Film Score Daily’s Top Forty Composer Countdown (via First Showing) the composer for Michel Gondry‘s The Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz and Christoph Waltz has been announced. It will be none other than Danny Elfman, the man behind almost all of Tim Burton‘s scores, including the upcoming Alice In Wonderland. He has also done Terminator: Salvation, Spider-Man 2, Milk, and Good Will Hunting among many others.

I’ve never had a problem with Elfman’s scores so this is good news for the film. As for Green Hornet, I’m praying that Gondry will redeem himself after the dismal Be Kind Rewind. I can’t wait to see if Christoph Waltz can repeat the greatness that is his role in Inglourious Basterds.

The Green Hornet hits theaters December 22nd, 2010.

Are you looking forward to the Green Hornet, now with an Elfman score?
