Chris Evans, continuing to diversify his role choices, has signed on to play the lead role in the Kassen Brothers’ indie drama Puncture.
Evans joins a cast including Michael Biehn, Jesse L. Martin, Kate Burton, Tess Parker and Marshall Bell to play a drug-addicted lawyer who takes on a healthcare giant.
Evans’ star continues to rise with strong performances since escaping the Fantastic Four films with his reputation intact, with fine turns in Sunshine and Street Kings, as well as proving he can lead a picture with Paul McGuigan’s Push last year. This year currently sees five scheduled releases for Evans, including roles in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and The Losers.
