With buzz riding high that it could be the superhero film of the year, and a sequel already in place, Paramount has debuted a second full-length theatrical trailer for Joe Johnston‘s Captain America: The First Avenger. The blockbuster stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci, Neal McDonough and Derek Luke.

While the first trailer teased many of the cool moments, and brushed through the early years of our character, this one definitely paints a bigger picture. I still think the transition from scrawny to burly Evans is astounding. The action setpieces in the snow/train setting also look enticing. There are a few cheesy jokes, but this one just looks like plain, old-fashioned fun. Now, if only we can skip the 3D.

Check out the trailer below via Yahoo or in theaters with Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
