If you’re a Twihard who is hotly anticipating any news on the next entry in the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn, you’ve probably been following the speculation around Bella and Edward’s spawn casting closely.
Well, today Jezebel reports 9-year old Mackenzie Foy will take on the role of the half-breed vampire love child, Renesmee. The child actress has previously made appearance on Til Death and FlashForward so it’s likely you’ve never seen her before. Little information on her is available at present as her website is currently down, likely due to Twihard overload.
However, CBS declares that director Bill Condon will use technology similar to that used in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button to superimpose Foy’s face on a younger child…Or they may just cast another child who is younger.
LOST star Maggie Grace has also recently joined the cast as Irina, Deadline reports.
