After a timely teaser last December, Aardman Animations, the company that brought you the Wallace and Gromit films, has released a new teaser poking fun at the summer season. Attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 this Friday, the teaser is from the animation directed by Mulan co-helmer Barry Cook and Sarah Smith.
I think these little teasers are clever, and are certainly more appealing that the one for the other winter family release Happy Feet Two. Bill Nighy, James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, and Jim Broadbent star in the film, brought to you by Sony Animation, who delivered the highly enjoyable Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. Check it out below via Yahoo.
Synopsis:
‘So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?’ The answer: Santa’s exhilarating, ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole. But this year, Santa’s son Arthur has an urgent mission that must be completed before Christmas morning dawns.
Arthur Christmas hits theaters November 23rd, 2011.
