Last week the internet blew up with the theatrical trailer debut of J.J. Abrams‘ upcoming blockbuster Super 8. In an unprecedented marketing move, Paramount unveiled the trailer on Twitter, but unfortunately it wasn’t in HD. To satisfy our bloodthirsty for the maximum resolution, Apple has released the trailer in glorious 1080p. In celebration, I’ve taken 125 screen captures and you can see them below by clicking for high-resolution. Synopsis: In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
Super 8 hits IMAX theaters on June 10th, 2011.
