U.S. Theatrical Trailer For Terrence Malick’s ‘To the Wonder,’ Plus New Clip Featuring Ben Affleck

I can think of no other outlet more synonymous with the name Terrence Malick than Entertainment Tonight, so as such, they’ve premiered the first U.S. theatrical trailer for To the Wonder, but thankfully left the voiceover to the actors in the film. While it runs about the length of our first international look, we’re given a handful of new shots as we follow the story of Ben Affleck‘s romantic life, bouncing in between Rachel McAdams and Olga Kurylenko, with Javier Bardem popping in for guidance.

Check it out below, along with a new clip from France, and the official poster without any pesky watermarks, then read our review from Toronto International Film Festival, where we said the film ”unfolds itself as a series of images trying hard to forget the pain. As inferences are made concerning infidelity and the ultimate betrayal of adultery threatens to destroy all shred of what once was and what was hoped to be, we’re reminded of happier times devoid of the suffering wrought by weakness, insecurity, and paranoid delusions speaking more about the accuser’s mindset than the accused” and that “Malick tells his romance through the silent flicker of cascading memories long passed.” Also included below is a list of theatrical expansion, so you can find out when you’ll be able to see the film.
