Breaking out in Little Miss Sunshine, Abigail Breslin has enjoyed a healthy career of fairly harmless crowdpleasers, but this years marks the actress’ turn into horror thrillers. We saw her get terrorized in the surprise hit The Call earlier this year and now the trailer for her latest genre film has landed.
Coming from Vincenzo Natali, who last delivered the twisted Splice, Haunter seems to be in more conventional territory as we follow a girl in a fairly generic haunted house, secret-filled plot. We’ve always enjoyed Natali’s eye though, so hopefully this one is worth a watch. Haunter opens on October 18th in theaters and on VOD.
