He’s starred alongside Bruce Willis, led a high-profile swords and sandals epic, headed up a major Showtime series, but next week, Henry Cavill will get more worldwide recognition then ever before with the arrival of Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel. For those of us wondering how he’ll follow the new (hopefully) acclaim, we’ve finally got an answer.

After being rumored for the role last month, Cavill has confirmed his next project is Guy Ritchie‘s thriller The Man From U.N.C.L.E, replacing Tom Cruise. “Things are full-steam ahead. It’s all very early days. But it’s gonna happen,” Cavill recently told USA Today. Regarding the project that will see him alongside Armie Hammer, he adds, “Well, this is Hollywood. It’s supposed to happen.” While that film barrels towards a fall shoot, check out WB’s final, last-ditch effort to sway you on Supes below and return for our review next week.

Man of Steel opens on June 14th, but you knew that already.

Were you not going to see Snyder’s blockbuster? Does this trailer convince you otherwise? What do you think about Cavill’s next project?
