After continuing the story of Toy Story and Cars, as well as heading into the folk tale arena with Brave, the animators at Pixar are set to expand upon the the world they crafted with Monsters Inc. Tracking the budding relationship of Mike and Sulley at college, we recently got an extended featurette for their prequel Monsters University, but now the first full trailer has landed, originating from the UK. While its a little too gag-filled for my tastes, it does present what will likely be an entertaining excursion this summer. Check it out below for the film featuring the voices of John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi, Jennifer Tilly, Kelsey Grammer, Frank Oz, Ken Jeong, John Ratzenberger and J.B. Smoove.

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends. Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”).

Monsters University opens on June 21st, 2013.
