Nicholas Cage, the man with the hair we all like to talk about (is he wearing a wig? What’s that style about? Is that his real hair?), is set to star in new action thriller, Medallion. [THR]
Directed by Simon West, the project has been around for a while, with actors such as Clive Owen and Jason Statham rumoured to have been considered for the main role. However, when Millennium Films got on board to finance the project, company favourite Cage (who has starred in Millennium‘s The Wicker Man and the upcoming Summit release, Drive Angry) was a shoe in for the lead.
The plot focuses on a master thief of a father who’s daughter is kidnapped and taken away in the trunk of a New York medallion taxi cab. A story that sounds like it’s poaching on Taken‘s territory?
I wonder what hairstyle he’ll be showcasing for this role? Any guesses?
