With over 30 reviews, our Toronto International Film Festival 2013 coverage is winding down, but there’s still more to come. Today, however, as the festival concludes, we’ve got news of the award winners. Following last year’s Silver Linings Playbook, taking the top prize was Steve McQueen‘s masterful drama 12 Years a Slave, while Sion Sono‘s wild-looking Why Don’t You Play In Hell? grabbed the Midnight Madness honors.

In the documentary category, the top award went to The Square, which we reviewed at Sundance earlier this year. Check out the complete list of winners below and click any links to see our full reviews or trailers where available (click here for our complete coveragE). I’d also highly recommend heading over to our Noah review, where you can watch the award-winning short film in full until September 19th.
