A few weeks ago I had the enormous pleasure of sitting down with Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, and Edgar Wright for their final film in the Three Flavors Cornetto trilogy, The World’s End. Knowing that the guys had been jumping from city to city in promotion of the film, I knew I wanted to start them off with a question they likely hadn’t heard a thousand times. Luckily, it seems I got what I asked for.

As much as I’d like to go into detail about the film and why you should see it, I think both our review and my kind recommendation that this is likely one of the funniest films you’ll see with an undercurrent of strong truth and humanity along with outrageous fights should do the trick. So check out what Pegg, Frost, and Wright had to say about their simultaneous rise in level of celebrity, how they utilized the cinematographer Bill Pope and fight coordinator Bradley Allan from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World to create “Pub Fu” and hear what each of their favorite Cornetto actually is.

As a bonus, we’ve also included over 15 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from The World’s End, as well a interactive screenplays for Shaun of the Dead (here) and Hot Fuzz (here).

The World’s End opens on August 23rd.
