Although Wes Anderson is currently residing in London shooting his next stop-motion animation, he’s found time to bring some holiday cheer in the form of a new short film. Created for H&M, Come Together could more or less be considered a spiritual sequel (or Christmas special accompaniment) to The Darjeeling Limited, as we find Adrien Brody bearing some unfortunate news for passengers of the Winter Express, but trying to make the best of it.
Employing his particular brand of detailed set design, immaculate tracking shots, and set of memorable characters (even if Brody is the only one with lines), Anderson looks to be having a great deal of fun here. Considering it’s the only live-action material we’ll get from him for some time, kick off the holidays by watching below.
