After her feature film break-out Trainwreck proved to be a major hit last summer, Amy Schumer is back on the big screen with a new comedy. For the film, titled Snatched (no relation to Guy Ritchie’s best film), she’s also recruited an actress who hasn’t been in a feature in 15 years: Goldie Hawn. Ahead of a release this May, the first trailers have now arrived.
Directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50, Warm Bodies), the comedy finds the duo paired as mother-daughter who go on an Hawaiian adventure, as scripted by Katie Dippold (Ghostbusters, The Heat). The first red band trailer doesn’t shy away from the film’s presumed R rating as Schumer’s brand of comedy is fully on display. Check out the red band trailer below, along with a theatrical version, for the film also starring Joan Cusack, Ike Barinholtz, Wanda Sykes, and Christopher Meloni.
Snatched opens on May 12, 2017.
