After adoring the genre, Kevin Smith now has a superhero film he can call his own. The filmmaker picked up Jordan Galland‘s Alter Egos to distribute on his Smodcast Pictures label and now the first full-length trailer has arrived today. Fitting in with other low-budget superhero flicks, this one follows a group of heroes who are down and out after losing government funding and public support. Even if you aren’t a fan of Smith’s films, it great to see him use his clout to get projects into the spotlight that may never have had a chance. Check out the trailer below for the film starring Kris Lemche, Brooke Nevin, Joey Kern, Christine Evangelista, John Ventimiglia and Danny Masterson.
Alter Egos opens this Friday in limited release and hits VOD on November 20th.
