Fearing the massive blockbuster power of Christopher Nolan‘s Inception, Disney has moved up Jon Turteltaub‘s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice two days to Wednesday, July 14th.
This has nothing to do with the quality of the film. /Film even reports that has some sources that say it’s quite good and I agree. They also report that “even director Jon Turteltaub cracked some nervous jokes about the release date while speaking at WonderCon.”I’ll definitely be checking out both films, but likely see Inception many, many more times.
Incepti on hits IMAX theaters July 16th.
