With its release next summer, Zack Snyder’s superhero reboot Man of Steel will try to accomplish what few have done: make Superman interesting. (We can discuss this in the comments section.) Currently in post-production, the reboot — led by up-and-comer Henry Cavill — hasn’t had much released in terms of official material, save for one picture of the hero. But today, ever so quietly, Warner Bros. premiered the official logo for Man of Steel via Facebook page. You can see it right above.

Looking at that Man of Steel  logo, only one thing has crossed my mind: this is definitely directed by Zack Snyder. I don’t mean that in an insulting way, or anything, but had I just found out about Man of Steel by seeing this logo, I’d immediately know who was behind the whole thing. Outside of that, though? It’s a logo. It’s literally almost nothing to go on (unless you want to make a case for Man of Steel  being a “gritty” reboot), but something is usually better than nothing.

Man of Steel , which co-stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Michael Shannon as General Zod, opens everywhere June 14th, 2013.

Are you left with any kind of impression when glancing at this logo?
