Whether he is played by Harrison Ford (Patriot Games), Alec Baldwin (The Hunt for Red October), or even Ben Affleck (The Sum of All Fears), Jack Ryan has become one of the most iconic characters in both film and novel history. Well thanks to George Clooney (Oceans Eleven) the character might have found a new body. According to /Film “A source says he expressed interest in playing Jack Ryan when and if Paramount attempts to revive the Tom Clancy series.”
I would be interested in seeing this. Clooney has a nack to play these intesne political characters (Michael Clayton anybody?). I don’t want to say more until there is an official word from wither Paramount or Clooney but I am definitely intruiged.
