It’s been nearly three weeks since the sudden death of Philip Seymour Hoffman and it’s still hard to believe he’s not with us. A private memorial service, featuring a eulogy from Paul Thomas Anderson, gave his closest friends an opportunity to grieve, but some of his close collaborators are continuing to remember his life and career. The latest is his Doubt, Charlie Wilson’s War and The Master co-star Amy Adams, who sat down with James Lipton for Inside the Actors Studio, which premiered last night.
In a portion made available online, she reflects on working with the actor, tearfully saying, “He was beautiful. He’s a beautiful spirit and he had this unique ability to see people, to really see them — not look through them — he just really saw people. And he will be missed.” Check out the clip below and see more over on Bravo’s official site. We’ve also included Cate Blanchett‘s remembrance of the late actor, during her BAFTA acceptance speech for Blue Jasmine.
