With a pair of features under his belt (not counting his now-disowned Static), Mark Romanek has been attempting to secure his third effort and after he departed Cinderella, word has it he could take on a Casey Affleck-led drama. As of late, however, the helmer has returned to the format that helped launched his career: the music video.

It was teased during the Super Bowl, but now the full, official video for U2‘s latest single, Invisible, has landed, directed by the Never Let Me Go helmer. In stylish black-and-white, the video features the band taking the stage at a Santa Monica airport hangar and captured over three days in January. We’ve also embedded a playlist of dozens of other videos from Romanek, including Jay-Z, Johnny Cash, R.E.M., Weezer, Michael Jackson, Sonic Youth, David Bowie and many more, as well as 2005 documentary diving into his career.

What’s your favorite Mark Romanek-directed music video?
