Return to Neverland in Full-Length Trailer For Joe Wright’s ‘Pan’

In most cases, delaying from a competitive date in summer is usually a bad sign, but instead of WB moving Pan to their Jupiter Ascending/Jack the Giant Slayer dead zone of March, it’ll now open in October. Coming from period costume drama connoisseur Joe Wright, we now have the full-length trailer for the reimagining of the a classic tale. J.M. Barrie‘s Peter Pan.

Wright tells Fandango it’s “this kind of fantasia based upon the original J.M. Barrie style. It’s about how Peter Pan became Peter Pan, and watching it will feel like a very free and fantastical dream. And it’s a huge leap forward for me, at least in technical terms. What I set out to do was make a great action-adventure for my own kids that ticked all the boxes —  for it to be exciting, thrilling, and yet deliver a story with great heart and emotion. And I think we achieved that.”

Starring Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund, Rooney Mara, Adeel Akhtar, Levi Miller, Taejoo Na, Nonso Anozie, Kathy Burke, Kurt Egyiawan, Lewis MacDougall, Leni Zieglmeier, Jack Charles, and Amanda Seyfried, check out the trailer below.

Pan opens on October 9th.
