We’ve already gotten many, many, many trailers for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming blockbuster Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but it looks like they have release another and, if they are to be believed, the final one. This shorter trailer is light on dialogue, but it does show off quite a bit of new footage after its promising Comic-Con presentation. Aided by WETA’s fantastic effects, I think Rupert Wyatt may have crafted a fine action film based on this footage. The film stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, and Andy Serkis. You can see the new trailer below via First Showing and make sure to watch it until the very end to get a full grasp at how super pissed these monkeys are.

Synopsis:

A single act of both compassion and arrogance leads to a war unlike any other — and to the RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. The Oscar-winning visual effects team that brought to life the worlds of Avatar and Lord of the Rings is breaking new ground, creating a CGI ape that delivers a dramatic performance of unprecedented emotion and intelligence, and epic battles on which rest the upended destinies of man and primate.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes hits theaters August 5th, 2011.
