After jumping into massive-budget spectacle with Furious 7, this year finds James Wan returning to smaller scale horror in two features. First up, he directed The Conjuring 2, featuring the return of demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) as they travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.

Then he produced David F. Sandberg‘s feature Lights Out, based on his short (also seen below). Starring Teresa Palmer, Gabriel Bateman, Alexander DiPersia, Billy Burke and Maria Bello, it follows a woman who only sees a creature when the lights go out, haunting her and her family. Two new trailers for the films have now debuted at WonderCon, and are now available online. Check them out below, as well as the poster for Lights Out.
