When one thinks of the animation world and dinosaurs colliding, it’s usually the anthropomorphized, cuddly variety. But when it comes to a new film from 20th Century Fox, they are going for a more realistic experience. Featuring no dialogue and a fairly stripped down narrative, the first trailer for Walking with Dinosaurs has us reminded of the TV series of the same name that it’s based on. Directed by Barry Cook (Arthur Christmas, Mulan) and Neil Nightingale, we hope that this actually makes for a compelling feature, but if not, it should at least be a good primer for Colin Trevorrow‘s Jurassic Park 4 next summer. Walking with Dinosaurs arrives on December 20th.
