Sure, Canada has given us such filmmakers as David Cronenberg, Atom Egoyan and James Cameron, but few talents from up north deliver more laughs than those behind Trailer Park Boys. After seven seasons and two movies, its now time to continue the adventures of Ricky (Robb Wells) and Julian (John Paul Tremblay), Bubbles (Mike Smith), as a third feature film is now planned.

Following up 2009’s Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day the gang has confirmed today that they will team once again with director and series creator Mike Clattenburg, for a third film set to kick off shooting this March for hopefully a release by year’s end. While there is no details on what the plot will hold, we can expect the mockumentary adventures in Sunnyvale Trailer Park to be as crude and hilarious as ever. Check out a statement from producer Barrie Dunn below, as well as a few great montages from the show and an entire episode of you want to jump in. Warning: it’s highly addictive.

We are all extremely pleased to be working together again on another Trailer Park Boys film. Although it’s been four years since our last film, Ricky, Julian and Bubbles are as popular as ever, even expanding internationally, and we’re delighted to bring them back to the big screen.
